Start.

Now then.  I’m Graham, and I’m a cynic.  Well, when it’s profitable, anyway.

This blog is the fruit of about a year of running an occasional Facebook album full of unintentionally funny stuff I’ve found and had to photograph.  Y’know.  Crap you see, point and laugh at, and move on.

Don’t you wish you’d kept pictures of those things so you can have a sly lol at them later when you should be doing something remotely constructive?  Moreover, what if the various people you affiliate yourself with refuse to believe such toss?  Wouldn’t it be wicked awesome to have documented it?

Then more fool you!  That’s what Scary Planet is all about.  Stuff I’ve found, found vaguely amusing, and have accompanied with lumps of acerbic snarking that I find fairly appropriate.  That’s it.

So, I’m running a daily ‘best of’ Scary Planet for a couple of weeks (to unleash the Facebook album’s content onto Tumblr) alongside new stuff as and when I find it.  It’s going to be a fairly irregular posting of stuff, as some days, you can’t find anything ridiculous.  As foreign as it sounds.  Still, there are often days when this sort of thing just walks right up to you and starts dry-humping your shins.

So, yeah.  Enjoy it.  I know I will.

Cheers,

G
